Start with “What you can do” to find your way around Sansa.
Speaking is optional. Sit for a while, bow, and turn the beads.
Open Sansa in a browser to visit a virtual temple. You become a small monk in a hall with a Buddha. Other people share the space, and there is no chat to keep up. Enter on this page
What you can do
A joined-hands greeting, a bow, a strand of 108 beads, a chant, or simply sitting. There is no score and no contest. The first idea comes from Metamong’s Sansa. This is a virtual hall from a Korean online temple, not a booking page for a physical one. The gestures are on how to enter.
Greeting and bowing
Gassho greets the people in the hall. Bow keeps going until you press Stop. You do not have to finish 108 bows.
Beads, sound, and rooms
Each bead you move is counted, and 108 beads make one round. Ambience, chant, and effects have their own volumes. Names such as maru and maru-02 are rooms in the same hall, not levels. If one room is full, choose another from the list.
Questions
Is it free to enter?
The hall on this page opens in the browser, with no install and no account.
Is this a real temple?
It is a virtual hall. It does not replace a visit to a real temple.
